By creating an account or using Gallant, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older to use Gallant. By using the app you confirm that you are at least 18.

2. What Gallant is

Gallant is a dating-confidence coaching app for men. It provides an AI coach ("Vivienne"), AI companions to practise conversations with, feedback, and self-improvement tools.

Important: All characters — including Vivienne, Roxy, and the companions — are fictional AI characters, not real people. Conversations are generated by artificial intelligence. Gallant is provided for entertainment and educational purposes and is not professional dating, psychological, medical, legal, or relationship advice. Do not rely on it as a substitute for professional help.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity that happens under your account. Provide accurate information when you sign up.

4. Subscriptions, billing and cancellation

  • Gallant offers a limited free taste, after which full features require a paid subscription.
  • Plans are billed in Australian Dollars (AUD): Monthly $14.99 or Annual $99 (or as shown in the app at the time of purchase).
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us (via Stripe) to charge your chosen payment method.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
  • You can cancel at any time; your access continues until the end of the current paid period, and you will not be charged again after that.
  • Refunds: except where required by the Australian Consumer Law, payments are generally non-refundable. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use Gallant for any unlawful, harmful, harassing, or abusive purpose;
  • Attempt to make the AI produce sexual, explicit, hateful, or otherwise prohibited content;
  • Use the app to harass, deceive, or harm real people;
  • Attempt to copy, resell, reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the app;
  • Share your account or use it on behalf of anyone under 18.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.

6. Content and intellectual property

Gallant, including its characters, designs, text, images, and software, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by law. You may use the app for your own personal, non-commercial use only. You retain ownership of what you type, but you grant us a licence to process it to provide the service (see our Privacy Policy).

7. AI limitations and disclaimer

AI responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate at times. You use the app and any advice from it at your own discretion and risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gallant is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of Gallant. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Termination

You may stop using Gallant and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or if we stop operating the service.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and update the effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you submit to the courts of that jurisdiction.
